The Open Science Day will be a National Tripartite Event, hosting representatives from EOSC, the European Commission, EU Member States and key national and international experts in the field of open science, infrastructure and science evaluation.

Citizen science has a broad meaning and many different roles. Its mission is to discover new scientific knowledge, but also to share this knowledge among different stakeholders. Involving lay researchers in citizen science projects creates a bridge between the local community and research institutions.

The Slovenian Supercomputing Network Day will highlight the importance of the Slovenian Supercomputing Network SLING’s collaboration with various research fields and the economy. The key role of international collaborations and projects will be highlighted.

The supercomputing workshops provide participants with a basic or advanced understanding of how supercomputers and parallel computing work, while the thematic strands address different target audiences to use the supercomputer for innovative solutions.

The Education Network

The Education Network is aimed at participants working in the field of digitalisation of education. The event will focus on digitisation projects, digital citizenship, the use of mobile phones in schools, the uncritical use of artificial intelligence, online fraud and services for personalising and digitising education.
